"Robbie is a fantastic teacher.
Tailoring classes to personal musical interests yet at the same time
inspiring the importance of a well disciplined approach to drum
practice. His calm and patient styles mean he is not only a joy to be
around but also creates the right space to learn at a comfortable pace. I
look forward to each and every lesson I have and can't recommend Robbie
enough. He's not bad at playing the drum either." - Al Livingstone,
Brixton
"I have recently moved to Brighton & Hove and one of my favourite things over here are my drum lessons with Robbie. He´s an excellent, patient and accessible teacher who tailors every lesson and makes them really useful and very entertaining. Robbie manages to make me feel at ease and to enjoy being behind the drums. I always leave the lessons with an uplifting feeling and looking forward to the next one." - Catalina Barceló, Brighton
My son, now nearly 10, started drumming lessons with Robbie just over 3 years ago. Given that he still enthusiastically attends his sessions should be a good indication as to how we both feel about Robbie as a drumming teacher. Robbie is always punctual and I receive an email at the end of every session detailing the points my son should be working on or practising more of. My son has a wide range of musical interests and Robbie is always happy to adapt to these and encourage his learning of these styles; from pop to jungle/drumnbass to hiphop. In short. Robbie is indeed a great teacher, a very approachable person and my son will continue attending, enjoying and learning from these sessions." - Vicky van der Widlt
"Robbie has taught me everything I know, he's amazing!" / "I am improving every lesson, thanks Robbie" - Brothers Woody and Sonny Evans, Brighton
"Robbie is a brilliant teacher. He is kind and patient but very focused. He leads by example of passion and dedication to his art. My son loved learning the drums with Robbie and loved him! The only reason we stopped is because we came to live in America. Louie still plays the drums and even without resuming lessons he remembers all that Robbie taught him." - Polly Borland, Los Angeles
